Manager Benefits List
SSC’s employees are our greatest asset. In order to attract and retain quality individuals, the following elements comprise our generous benefit package:
- ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
All employees who have been with the company one year and who work at least 1,000 hours per year are eligible to participate. Contributions to the employee’s ESOP account are based on company performance and employee earnings. Each employee is fully vested after five years of service at 1,000 hours per year. - 401K Savings Plan
All employees who have been with the company 60 days are eligible to participate during the next quarterly open enrollment. Employee contributions are matched by SSC at 25% up to the maximum amount that an employee may elect to defer. The maximum amount is 14% of an employee’s annual compensation. Employees are immediately vested in all of their matching contributions. - Vacation Pay
All salaried employees are eligible to receive paid vacations depending on their years of service. - Health Insurance Option
Salaried employees have a choice between two levels of coverage with benefits and are eligible after the required waiting period as defined by the plan. The company also offers FSA and HSA accounts for employees that wish to save money on a pre-tax basis for qualified medical expenses. Also available for eligible employees: dental and vision plans as well as long and short term disability insurance. - Life Insurance
The company offers affordable optional life insurance coverage. - Supplemental benefits
Supplemental benefits such as cancer and accident insurance are also available. - Tuition Reimbursement Program
For those who qualify and are interested in pursuing a degree that will benefit their career with SSC Service Solutions, we offer this program after one year of employment. Some restrictions may apply. See VP of Human Resources for more information. - Length of Service Awards
Length of service awards are given out to employees who have been with SSC for ten years or longer. They receive a plaque and a monetary award for their tenure. - Career Opportunities
SSC is able to offer career opportunities to custodians that most organizations cannot. Career advancement is a reality at SSC. In fact, all of our upper level management started as general cleaners or manager trainees and have worked their way up through the ranks. (SSC is an EOE employer.) - Contract Manager of the Year Award
Each year an outstanding contract manager from each of our four divisions is selected to receive a plaque and a monetary bonus. - The Clean Sweep Newsletter
